Sticky: About Me/Links Post
I have a working version of aged-down Chadley, so I’ve been moving forward with my au idea. I get the impression people don’t really like Chadley, but I do so I’m adopting him as the Sefikura child for this AU. He has silver hair and blue eyes how can I not.
He’s a mesh mod of several different models as well as a handful of texture edits to kinda match his original color pallet. Some of the rigging/weights could use some more work but he’s usable for now till I decide to edit him some more.
Sporty striped swimsuit from the base game converted to the male frame. I used my defined feet model to determine where to align the straps around the foot, so it’ll look best with those.

Also, a big thank you to @slingbees for beta testing this for me.
Not my first from-scratch model, but my first one for use in the Sims. Tried to match the polycount of the hands for these so they’d better match the rest of the model. I’m extremely pleased with the way they turned out.
I’ve also made a socked version of the feet that are wearable as a pair of shoes. Basically took my defined feet model and modified the toe area to be fused and, hopefully, mimic what feet actually look like in socks. No more blocky sock feet!

Cropped jacket from the base game hispanic update converted to the male frame. I’ve converted this mesh before with the Get Famous version, but wanted the new swatches for it and it was a pretty easy texture edit. I did go ahead and clean up the mesh a bit, so I’ve also updated the other version so the meshes match. Shirt recolor accessory has also been updated.

Some stuff in various states of completion. Lots of very tedious texture edits with the dress and full swimsuit, and the weights on the knit sweater are kinda wonky so they’re all taking longer than I would like. Wish I could get my turnaround times to be shorter on these, but this isn’t my job and the feedback is low, so I’m trying not to stress myself out too much over what is basically a hobby. Things can exist in half finished states for as long as I need them to.
I’m hoping to be able to cut up the full swimsuit into three pieces, but given the headache the knit sweater has given me when I separated it I might have to pass. Will see how I feel about it.

It took several days of literal rock bottom, but I’m slowly feeling like I wanna working on shit again. One of the things I wanted to work on was my rig setup for making sims poses. There was an issue with it where anytime I moved the pole targets for the IK the hands and feet would rotate away from where I’d already posed them, which made me have to readjust them constantly and that wasn’t fun.
It took way longer than I care to admit to figure out how to fix that issue, and it was literally like two check boxes in the bone and IK constraint settings, but it got figured out. The legs have a slight bit of jank left in them, but overall way more usable now than before so I’ll probably stick with this setup for a while.
